Current applications for the R1000 are 1996 and later OBD2 compliant vehicles that use the ISO9141, ISO14230 (KWP2000) and the ISO15765 (CAN) protocols. Some 1994 and 1995 vehicles are OBD2. The emissions decal under the hood of the vehicle will state the emissions level compliance. We have found that some vehicles are not entirely OBD2 compliant that otherwise should be, so please contact us if you have any questions about compatibility.
